Perfect Shade of Blue

One day closer to Friday! I am so ready to get home and get working on making sure everything is ready for the wedding! Its coming so quick and I can hardly wait! While having a busy schedule lately I have gone for comfort. 90% of the time I am in my workout clothes, hair in a bun or pony and no makeup. So when getting dressed up I still want to feel comfortable so that by the end of the day I don't feel miserable. Big booty Judy over here can barely squeeze into jeans haha! I love the sophistication of a flowy top, and this one is no exception! The fabric, the ruffles and the flowers...I am obsessed! Not to mention it is the perfect shade of blue. And you all should know I am obsessed with these booties by now! Jeffrey Campbell inspired without spending the price? Yes please!! I can't tell you how tempted I have been to buy more than just my one pair! But I know Derek wouldn't be too happy haha. Well we are off on another day of exploring Breckenridge and Frisco Colorado! Thanks for following! xoxo

Blissed

I have been major slacking on blogging this week! Derek and I are in Breckenridge, Colorado with his family and it is gorgeous here! We are having so much fun because the moment we get back its going to be chaos counting down the final weeks until the wedding! So with my busy schedule I am always looking for those looks that are stylish, simple and comfy. This outfit is no exception! Green is a red heads best friend, so I am told! I use to never wear any type of green but lately its one of my go to colors. I absolutely love it, especially the darker the shade it gets! And necklaces, I am constantly wearing one or two. They are such a great statement piece without making it look like too much is going on! This is a short and simple but I hope that you are all having a good week so far! And don't forget abut my code mirroredchic10 to get you 10% off your order from B. Blissed Boutique. Happy shopping!

Beachy Vibes

I am obsessed with this dress! It was one of those buys where I put it into my cart and thought "Shelby you really don't need this." After about 10 minutes of staring at my computer and debating if I should or shouldn't get it, it is now hanging in my closet! Haha. This dress and shoes are both from Shop Amara and I am currently wishing I could have all of their cute stuff! A girl can dream right? This outfit gives me some heavy beachy vibes and I am so ready to be somewhere by the ocean! And isn't this towel the perfect accessory to take with? When I first saw it there was no way it was a towel, to me it looked like a blanket. Well it has easily become my favorite thing ever! Cute, functional and I can't wait to take it to the beach or pool and even have it as decoration in our house! I am voting you all need one and you should get one in every color they have, they are that good! I hope that your guys week was a good one! Mine was busy to say the least and on Sunday we are heading to Colorado for a week. Probably not the smartest thing to do before the wedding, but we could definitely use a vacation! Happy Fri-yay loves!

You are Enough

Have you ever heard someones insecurity and felt like slapping them? Because in your eyes they are perfect, gorgeous or handsome. I always wish that people could see themselves through my eyes, maybe just maybe they would think differently. But just as the rest of the world has insecurities, I have mine. My top insecurity lately? My arms. Such a small thing to be worried about. After high school I weighed the most I had ever been, life's circumstances caused me to not take care of myself. After getting sick and losing over 12 pounds in a couple weeks I was skinny again. I remember when Derek and I first dated he even made a comment of how skinny I was. And guess what? Hearing that didn't make me happy either. Derek lifts 6 days a week and when we started dating that became normal for me as well. With all the lifting especially lately my arms have gotten bigger, which I'm super excited about! But they are no where near where I want them, to me they are in the awkward stage of getting bigger but not defined. So in my eyes they simply look fat. I never wear tank tops and when I do I'm at the gym and I'm always holding my arms. Its never want I wanted to be insecure about but it just so happened it became my biggest one. So when I saw this shirt I just knew that I had to get it. Society lately tells us we have to be skinny, wear tons of makeup, get plastic surgery and always have our hair done to be beautiful. Well I think thats a bunch of bogus. I may not be in love with my arms just yet, but I am in love with how far I have come. I have worked so hard and instead of getting down on myself, I need to be proud. It is so much better to love yourself and everything you have to offer. It doesn't matter what size, what shape or what race you are. Each character about us individually is special and we need to fall in love with that. I wanted to write this post because I know what it feels like to have these insecurities and look at others and wish we were them or could have what they have. But we truly never know what others might be experiencing or going through. But I wanted to say no matter who you are or where you are from, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Inside and out. We need to start looking in the mirror and not bashing what we hate, but praising what we love. Life is too short to worry about such tiny things, we need to be out their loving and enjoying our days. I hope that when you look at yourself you feel love and acceptance because you are enough. I love you all! xoxo

All About Those Neutrals

Life has been awfully crazy lately with wedding planning, working and working on things for the blog. In just a little over a month Derek and I will be married! I can't believe how fast the engagement  has gone but I am so ready to be Mrs. Bayles. This Saturday we are doing our bridals/formals/first look and I cannot wait to see Derek's face when he see's me in my dress! And then next weekend we are leaving for Colorado for Derek's family reunion. I don't think life is going to be slowing down anytime soon! With all the hustle and bustle I want to be comfortable but still look stylish, and thats why I absolutely love this dress! Its a dress that is simple, feels like you are wearing pajamas but still looks so cute! Dress it up or dress it down, it looks good no matter the occasion! Also with getting ready and running around, 99.9% of the time my hair ends up in a bun or a ponytail. I hate wearing hair ties on my wrists for the fact that my wrists are tiny and the hair ties cut off my circulation. These hair tie bracelets from Bela Bracelets are so practical and dress up any outfit! But my late night blogging is brought to you by me not wanting to do laundry! I hope your week has started off on the right track! Love you all. xoxo
