Winter Shoot

Hello loves! Happy Thursday! I hope that this post finds you well! I am so excited to share these photos with you! We had this shoot planned for months and it seemed one thing after another was trying to prevent this shoot from happening. From the skirts we were normally to wear not making it in time, photographers canceling to the weather being awful. Last minute we got my brother who is starting photography to take the pictures and I am so happy with how they turned out! Everyone starts somewhere and I am so dang proud of him for accomplishing his first major shoot. And can I say how much I love these two ladies? We met through blogging and have become the best of friends. They are gorgeous, sweet and the kindest girls that I am blessed to know. My favorite thing about blogging is bringing so many amazing people into my life that I never would have known. This shoot was normally planned as a Christmas shoot but I think it fits the whole winter theme. The outfits were are own but with the help of others collaborating, they were brought to life with gorgeous accessories. And I cant wait to continue doing shoots just like this. Hello loves! I hope that your Christmas was filled with love and happiness. How does it always come and go so fast? Today was back to work starting with a shoot with one of my favorite little boutiques. This week is a busy one but I'm excited to ring in the new year with a bang! This holiday inspired outfit was for Christmas but since I didn't get around to posting it in time, it would still be an amazing outfit for New Years! What are your plans? Derek and I aren't sure exactly what we are doing but I am ready to enter 2017 with him as my husband. Good things are coming this next year and I cant wait to improve in many areas! But back to this outfit. I have had this skirt for two years and it is still one of my favorites in my closet. I decided to pair it with some turquoise, a belt and black to give it the edge I was looking for! It easily became an outfit I love. And who says you have to just wear it during the holidays? I have worn it to weddings, church, events and many other places. Its the perfect amount of gold and sequins to make any occasion fab! Hello loves! Merry Christmas Eve Eve! Can you believe its here already? This year has flown by so fast but I'm so ready to see what 2017 is going to bring! Its going to be a year of change and I am gonna make things happen! One of them being getting back into the gym 6 days a week. I have gained a good 10+ pounds and I am over it. Before summer I am going to loose the weight I have gained and finally get the muscle definition I have always wanted! I decided instead of waiting for the new year to start, Im gonna start right now! Derek and I have been getting back into the gym and I have even added cardio in. Guys I hate cardio haha absolutely hate it but I am doing it! My whole body has been so dang sore this week and honestly I love it. This workout attire is one of my favorite combinations. The colors, the details, the mesh, all of it. I am obsessed. 90% of the time I am in workout clothes so why not be cute while wearing them?! Hello loves! I hope that this post finds you well. We are half way through the week and I am so excited for Christmas to be here! Todays post I wanted to mix sporty with chic. Since I am always in work out clothes, I try to incorporate it when getting dressed to go out. Nike is one of my favorite sports wear, I can never go into a nike store and not get something. I am that obsessed. Even on the days I am not at the gym I am most likely wearing workout clothes. So I decided to pair this nike shirt with a tulle skirt to give comfort and yet unique style. My favorite thing about fashion is mixing things that you normally don't think would go together and yet they become the perfect outfit. So for all you ladies out there who are like me and are in workout clothes 90% of the time, this is for you! haha. Hello loves! Happy Tuesday! I am so ready for this week to be over so that Christmas can be here already! Todays post Im bringing out more of my boho side. The slit, the color, the design, the length, this dress is dreamy and I am a little obsessed. Since we were shooting in what felt like -20 degree weather, I paired some big chunky boots with a hat to complete the look! I love the simplicity in this outfit and yet its one that I know I will wear over and over. Dresses have become a huge staple in my closet and I am always looking for ones that are unique and this dress is nothing short of that! The moment I saw it I knew I had to have it. Its a dress that makes me feel confident, and what woman doesn't want that? And you guys, I have been a little too obsessed with jewelry. I am always wearing either a choker, watch, earrings, ring, etc. I always feel like I cant get enough haha. The cute dainty ring on my finger, I'm in love. My favorite jewelry is what looks natural made. Crystals, geodes, turquoise...give me it all! And if you haven't tried the boho look. I highly recommend you do.
